The direction of the eccentricity of the tip is based on the direction of threading (0°), and there are nine types of cuts from the needle handle to the tip. The last two are the tip of the needle that is out of the diameter of the needle handle.
3, the ball tip
The tip of the needle has a spherical shape with a spherical tip, and has a small ball tip, a middle ball tip, a large ball tip, and a special ball tip. Its main function is to prevent the needle tip from stabbing the sewing material.
The tip of the pinhole near the tip of the small ball is connected to the conical body. The diameter of the ball is about 25% of the diameter of the needle body. It is suitable for tight fabrics or knitwear.
The shape of the tip of the ball is similar to that of the small ball, but the diameter of the hemisphere is about 35% of the needle body. It is suitable for bottoming or sewing knitwear.
The hemisphere of the large ball tip has a diameter of about 50% of the diameter of the needle body and is suitable for clothing bottom seams. The shape of the special ball tip is similar to that of other ball tips. The diameter of the hemisphere is about 75% of the diameter of the needle body, and the tip of the apex has an obtuse angle top, which is suitable for the clothing bottom seam of the lycra material.
