Method description:

There are a number of reasons why the upper thread is broken.

■ Upper threading may not be correct. Therefore, please re-thread the sewing machine according to the correct threading method in the manual. Please refer to the “Upper threading” in the instruction manual.

■ The upper thread tension may be too tight. Set the upper thread tension to the standard thread tension or a smaller thread tension.

■ Make sure that the spool shaft is properly placed and that the appropriate spool cover is used.
